• Grossmont Gardens Senior Living and Grossmont Gardens Senior Living is looking for a hardworking and motivated individual for per-diem maintenance technician position!

The position requires 1+ years of mechanical knowledge. The position also requires performing operating and maintenance tasks for multiple properties. Job Location (less than 1 mile apart from each other) 5480 Marengo Ave. La Mesa, CA 91942 and 4960 Mills St. La Mesa, CA 91942

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be self-motivated with good communication skills
• Must be available for after-hours emergency maintenance as needed or required
• Must possess the ability to perform the physical demands of the job responsibilities: o Lifting objects up to 100 pounds. o Frequent standing, walking, and kneeling o Occasional climbing, working from a ladder and balancing
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
• Must have transportation to travel
• Must be "tech-savy" enough to work a tablet and online work order system (training will be provided)
• Must be able to pass a background check with clearance to work in a senior care facility

JOB DESCRIPTION

(Duties include but are not limited to):

• Complete necessary operating, maintenance, and repairs tasks including but not limited to: o Plumbing repair: toilets, sinks o

Electrical:

maintain lights interior & exterior light fixtures o General building maintenance

• Record maintenance and repair information in accordance with guidelines established by management direction or policy/procedure
• Perform all duties as assigned through the work order system

Pay:

$27.00

• $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0
