Maintenance Technician Location:

Livermore, CA Pay Rate:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime as needed Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and operation of facility systems and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment while ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility and manufacturing equipment. Assist with the upkeep and operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems. Identify equipment issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules. Support facility improvement projects and equipment installations as needed. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation. Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Work collaboratively with production, quality, and management teams to ensure facility and equipment reliability. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner. Preferred Skills and Experience Mechanical aptitude with hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience. Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with boilers, chillers, and related utility systems is a plus. Knowledge of basic chemistry and microbiology laboratory techniques is preferred. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities. Strong sense of accountability, responsibility, and ownership of assigned projects and tasks. Ability to communicate effectively and work with employees at all levels of the organization. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical knowledge or experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related maintenance fields. Previous facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
