Service/Maintenance Technician (AKA Resident Repair Hero)! As a Shea Properties Service Technician, you will be the main on-site expert for maintenance. The Service Technician handles daily upkeep at the apartment community. They perform both regular and preventive maintenance repairs to keep everything working smoothly. Bring Your Toolkit of Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting building issues and repairs Plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair Diagnose and repair household appliances Perform general building maintenance Maintain grounds and swimming pool Trash management and curb appeal enhancement Use customer service skills to interact with internal and external customers Follow safety and compliance rules and procedures

Qualifications:
Previous experience in multifamily maintenance or a related field is strongly preferred Experience working on plumbing, HVAC, EPA, Carpentry, Painting, and CPO certification a plus Competency in Microsoft and various property management software, composing emails and other programs a plus Experience in operating power & hand tools and other necessary maintenance equipment Organizational and communication skills Requirements
  • Service Technician (Maintenance): Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walking, sitting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, stooping, crawling, and climb a ladder.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., including equipment and materials. Ability to work weekends. Flexibility to work overtime and on-call (after hours) in case of an emergency.
