We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic with 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a recycling, manufacturing, or heavy-industrial setting. Strong hands-on experience with conveyor systems and related plant equipment is essential. You will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and supporting mechanical systems to keep the recycling plant running safely and efficiently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must pass a drug screen and physical. Welding, fabrication, and basic electrical or controls experience are pluses.Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, including belts, rollers, pulleys, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and related components Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime and keep material-handling equipment running reliably Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment according to established schedules Assist with alignment, installation, and adjustment of conveyor and processing equipment Complete work orders, document repairs, and report recurring equipment issues to supervisors Follow all safety and environmental procedures, including proper lockout/tagout and use of PPE This is a strong opportunity for an experienced maintenance mechanic to join a long-established company and support critical conveyor and plant equipment at a recycling operation in Lost Hills, CA, in a safety-focused environment that values reliability, teamwork, and long-term career growth.Pay:
$29.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per weekBenefits:
