We host hour-long laser tag sessions, birthday parties, and group events for kids, teens, and adults. Our equipment and facility see heavy daily use. This position exists to keep the games, the equipment, and the building in reliable working order. Position Summary We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain our laser tag equipment, arcade machines, and physical facility. The role combines electronics troubleshooting with general building maintenance, and the majority of repairs are completed in-house. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair laser tag vests and phasers, including sensors, wiring, and board-level component replacement Maintain charging racks and battery packs so working equipment is available for every session Service arcade cabinets: buttons, joysticks, coin mechanisms, LCD and CRT monitors, power supplies, and internal wiring Maintain arena lighting, fog machines, sound systems, barriers, and props Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs within legal scope, and maintain door hardware, locks, and fixtures Complete drywall patching, caulking, and touch-up painting to a finished standard Follow a preventive maintenance schedule and keep repair logs and parts inventory current Keep the workshop, tools, and spare parts organized and stocked Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, facilities, skilled trades, arcade or amusement equipment service, or electronics and IT hardware repair Working knowledge of basic electronics: multimeter use, continuity testing, soldering, and interpreting wiring diagrams Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic construction methods Demonstrated diagnostic ability: identifying root causes rather than replacing components by trial and error Organized approach to parts, tools, and documentation, and consistent reliability in meeting scheduled repair commitments Must be 18 or older, legally authorized to work in the United States, with a high school diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience servicing arcade, vending, or amusement equipment Facilities or maintenance experience at a gym, hotel, theater, school, or multi-unit residential property Trade background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or automotive repair Experience repairing or restoring electronics, arcade cabinets, or pinball machines Personal set of basic hand tools
