Job Description

Full-time Mammography Technologist position near Monterey, CA. Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-focused environment at an ACR Designated Comprehensive Breast Center.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures per protocols Ensure high-quality images for accurate radiologist interpretation Prepare and position patients with clear instructions and compassionate care Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Follow radiation safety and infection control standards Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members Inspect and maintain imaging equipment for proper functionality Provide patient education and address procedure concerns Operate Hologic Dimension 3D mammography equipment Conduct procedures using a prone stereotactic table
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field Active ARRT certification in Radiography required ARRT Mammography certification required California state licensure required or eligibility CPR/BLS certification required
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in mammography or women's imaging Experience with Hologic Dimension 3D systems and stereotactic procedures Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Qualifications:
