Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, changing meters, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repairs and service tasks with precision, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership in problem-solving and task management. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and being on call for emergencies to minimize operational disruptions. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting complex systems. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, construction principles, and general maintenance practices. Ability to operate tools and machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently under pressure. Leadership qualities with the capability to guide team members or assist in training new staff when needed.
