In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety across our premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repair and installation for commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Operate company vehicles to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in maintenance management systems. Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing technical support and ensuring adherence to specifications. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Support the maintenance team in managing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies inventory. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in commercial or industrial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and appliance repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately. Experience with appliance installation and kitchen equipment maintenance is highly desirable. Familiarity with electrical systems repair, construction processes, and general building maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and supervision when required. Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology along with experience operating equipment repair tools is essential. Prior experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures in a fast-paced environment.
