About the Role As a CBRE Senior Technician, you will be an experienced maintenance professional capable of leading complex troubleshooting and repair, executing critical preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing technical field guidance to other technicians on the team. You will work across a multi-environment site that includes high-speed bottling lines, manufacturing equipment, wastewater systems, and general facility infrastructure. At the senior level, you are expected to identify a problem, solve it, and recommend a path forward with minimal supervision — escalating only on the most complex issues. You will work alongside peers and support less experienced technicians through hands-on guidance on the floor. Winery experience is not required. Strong mechanical and electrical skills in any high-speed manufacturing context — food and beverage, CPG, industrial production — are directly transferable. Candidates who can support an active bottling line will be prioritized. Site Context This role supports a dynamic, high-output operation that includes high-speed manufacturing, bottling lines, guest experience facilities, general office, storage, warehousing, and wastewater and drain water systems. Understanding the operational rhythm of this site is essential. The site operates two production lines: one runs seasonally for approximately six months per year filling bottles, and a second line runs daily for 11-12 months per year across one or two shifts producing finished goods and empty cages. Output adapts continuously to market demand, meaning downtime is not predictable and all maintenance personnel must be capable of supporting an active bottling line. The site operates on a two-shift model with three technicians per shift. During harvest season — typically six to eight weeks, generally falling between early August and mid-September, though timing can vary year to year — maintenance moves to a 24/7 schedule. Shifts restructure into three 8-hour rotations across six days, with a dedicated Sunday check-in to ensure facility integrity. No time off is permitted during harvest. All candidates must be comfortable with this schedule structure before applying. What You'll Do
- Perform complex troubleshooting and repair across mechanical, electrical, and building systems — capable of diagnosing problems and executing solutions with limited supervision.
- Execute critical preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across production, bottling, and facility systems.
- Serve as a technical resource and informal mentor to Maintenance Technician Level 3 colleagues; provide field guidance during complex repairs.
- Support planned and unplanned shutdowns, including preparation, execution, and post-work inspection.
- Assign and review work orders; estimate labor and materials for repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and CBRE procedures.
- Support bottling line operations across mechanical and electrical systems during production windows.
- Participate in harvest season 24/7 operations with modified shift structure (no time off during this period).
