If you care about the quality of work you do and enjoy a variety of projects we would like you to apply for our Maintenance position at Newark, CA. This is the perfect role for someone who has basic experience in hotel or apartment maintenance. If you can paint, disassemble locks, and have general handyman skills. We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance worker who enjoys being responsible for maintaining equipment and building systems and ensuring the facilities are clean and functional. Responsibilities Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, unclogging plumbing lines, filling gaps on walls, etc. Check control panels and plumbing lines to identify issues Install or repair furniture and lighting. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. air condition units) Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests. Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages). Inspect motel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards Notify management where major repairs are needed Report to Residential Manager for issues requiring major repair. Skills You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Basic knowledge of motel In-Room AC units, plumbing, and electrical systems.
