Facilities Technician 2 Big Canyon Country Club is looking for a full-time Facilities Technician 2 who will participate in all engineering/maintenance operations throughout the club. Duties & Expectations Conducting oneself in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of the Big Canyon Country Club Maintaining all building related systems and the building itself to ensure the safety of members, guests, employees, and vendors Performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment. Performing general maintenance such as drywalling, lighting, painting and general functionality Managing and repairing HVAC and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Pool maintenance - Chemical balance, pumps filters, etc. Performing work orders as assigned Maintaining inventory records for equipment and supplies Operating and management of the Club's Computerized Maintenance Management System. Skills & Qualifications Must have advanced knowledge and experience of Commercial industrial general maintenance including but not limited to Mechanicals, Stored energy and General Maintenance such as painting patching and staining, and/or related fields Must have experience performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment Certified Pool Operator preferred 5 years of previous maintenance experience required Previous experience in hospitality, country clubs, luxury resort or hotels preferred Must have attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner, and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amount of weight (minimum of 50 lbs.) Ability to multi-task in a faced paced, high-pressure environment Must have a flexible schedule for both AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays Ability to learn quickly and work in fast-paced position with member interaction High school diploma or equivalent required. Certifications in related fields preferred
