Full Job Description Overview:
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital contributor to ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment across our manufacturing environment. We value proactive problem-solving, technical skill, and a passion for maintaining excellence in every task.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance as required and document preventive maintenance in database. Perform minor and assist in major equipment repairs as needed. Evaluate repairs for future preventive measures. Responsible for housekeeping in the Maintenance Room. Perform light building maintenance as required. Support GGI's quality management system. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments. Ability to follow work instructions. Ability to maintain a preventive maintenance schedule. Ability and willingness to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrates effective communication skills both oral and written. Technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems. Basic knowledge of a computer, in particular with Microsoft Windows applications. Skilled in the operation of a forklift. Physical stamina to lift up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis in performing maintenance duties. Must be physically able to stand for long periods, bend, and climb ladders in conducting maintenance on machines. Ability and willingness to respond to emergencies as required which may require after hours, holidays, or weekend response.Job Type:
