Job Overview MC Tile & Stone, Inc. is seeking an experienced Countertop Installer / Fabricator to join our team in Palm Desert. This position is primarily focused on countertop installation, but the ideal candidate must also have hands-on fabrication experience. The right candidate must be experienced working with quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain, and other countertop materials and be able to complete installations accurately, safely, and professionally. This is a team-based position, so the candidate must be able to communicate well, follow direction, and work effectively with other installers and fabricators. Responsibilities Install countertops, islands, backsplashes, waterfall panels, and other stone components at residential and commercial jobsites. Perform final adjustments, polishing, seam work, cutouts, and other modifications needed during installation. Properly level, secure, seam, and finish countertops for a clean, professional installation. Cut, polish, and fabricate quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain, and other countertop materials as needed. Read and follow shop drawings, templates, and field measurements. Safely load, transport, unload, and handle countertop pieces. Identify and resolve installation issues in the field. Use hand tools, power tools, polishers, saws, and other countertop installation and fabrication equipment. Work closely with other installers, fabricators, and supervisors to complete projects safely and efficiently. Communicate clearly with the team regarding jobsite conditions, measurements, or installation issues. Protect clients' homes and maintain a clean and organized jobsite. Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements. Requirements 2+ years of countertop installation and fabrication experience required. Strong countertop installation experience required. Must have experience with countertop fabrication, cutting, and polishing. Must be able to work well as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Experience working with quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain, and similar materials. Ability to complete seams, cutouts, polishing, and field adjustments. Ability to read measurements, templates, and shop drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
