Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Sliding Door & Window Installer, where you will play a vital role in enhancing residential through expert installation of doors and windows. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to deliver high-quality results. As a key contributor, you'll ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client satisfaction, all while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans and installation requirements for sliding doors and windows. Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fitting, and installing glass panels with accuracy and care. Install sliding doors, windows, fixtures, and related hardware using hand tools and power tools efficiently. Perform dimensional measurements to ensure proper fit and alignment of doors and windows, maintaining high standards of quality control. Manage heavy lifting and glass materials handling safely during transportation and installation processes. Fabricate or modify components as needed to meet project specifications, including metal stud framing or drywall adjustments. Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques to ensure weatherproofing, insulation, and aesthetic appeal of installed units. Skills Experienced Sliding Door & Window Installation, Header Installation Drywall & Stucco Repair Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and fabrication equipment. Experience with window installation, glass materials handling, door hanging, and fixture installation. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and experience working on construction sites or in handyman roles. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or drywall work Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding client needs related to glass materials or construction plans.
