Job Description

Radiologic Technologist - Interventional/ Cardiac Cath Lab supports cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, operating fluoroscopy and maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. Scrub and circulate during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures. Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for procedures. Monitor patient status and maintain safety throughout procedures. Ensure radiation safety protocols for staff and patients. Accurately document procedures, imaging data, and patient information. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff to maintain efficient workflow. Participate in equipment quality assurance and maintenance protocols. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program Active ARRT certification required Current California Radiologic Technologist license required BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience required At least 1 year of scrubbing experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional setting required
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratories Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and interventional procedures Ability to work effectively in fast-paced procedural environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to patient safety and radiation protection practices
