Job Description

The Senior Facilities Technician (Electrical-Oriented) is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting facility and manufacturing electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operations. This role serves as a senior technical resource, with a primary focus on industrial electrical systems, while supporting general facilities maintenance as needed. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems including switchgear, panels, MCCs, transformers, UPS, generators, lighting, and power distribution (up to 480V). Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and facility systems. Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards; support LOTO procedures. Respond to facilities maintenance calls and emergency situations. Coordinate work with contractors and service providers. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to facilities technicians. Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS and support continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; technical/trade education preferred. 7+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical focus. Demonstrated experience with industrial power distribution systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
