Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains all mechanical and cosmetic items which may include kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, minor electrical, plumbing, fabrication, construction, etc. throughout the facility. Routinely inspects all lighting throughout the property, identifying and resolving problems. Responds to maintenance requests and in-house calls. Maintains pool facilities (if they exist at the property) as assigned. Monitors own work load and advises supervisor of job status. Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the engineering shop. Prepares daily work forms and communicates with all other team members. Maintains parts inventory stock Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations and controls. Assist other departments when needed. Adheres to Company, Departmental and safety policies and procedures and Cal-OSHA regulations. Maintains superior communication via email and pass downs to entire department. Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED preferred. Must have at least four years of experience with a significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, or on-the-job training required. Refrigeration experience, EPA I & II or Universal License and HVAC Certification required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. Must have a good understanding of plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance. Must be at least 21 years of age.
