Job Description

Villa Columba is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work and keeping buildings running the right way. This is a hands-on role working with Senior and Supportive Needs, with 70 units. No sitting behind a desk, no guesswork, just real maintenance work that makes a difference for residents. If you're experienced in apartment or building maintenance and want consistent hours, good benefits, and a stable employer , this is a great opportunity. This is an on-site position. This position comes with a staff unit to live on site.
Pay:
$20-21.23/hour, dependent on experience Benefits Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday) Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours) Paid Time off between Christmas and New Year's Holiday Several Healthcare plans to choose from, dental (includes adult and child orthodontia) and vision 15 days of earned PTO your first year, 12 company holidays + 2 floating holidays. 403B match, Paid Volunteer Time, Paid Parental Leave and Care Giver Leave, Paid Life Insurance Free Employee Assistance Plan, Free Basic Dental,Pet Insurance options Duties Perform general maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, painting, etc.) Respond to work orders and urgent maintenance needs in a timely, resident-focused manner Prepare apartments for new move-ins and turns Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Safely use tools and equipment while following OSHA and Mercy Housing safety standards Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Hands on experience of basic building maintenance Preferred Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work Technical training in one or more building trades preferred Knowledge and Skills Take direction from the supervisor. Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions. Flexible to change work plans. Maintain a professional personal appearance.
