In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to deliver top-notch maintenance support. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues promptly to minimize downtime. Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other repair tasks to maintain the facility's appearance and functionality. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes. Operate hand tools and electrical equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities equipment maintenance or renovations as needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO). Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical work. Skilled in welding, plumbing system maintenance and repair, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and HVAC system repair. Familiarity with electrical equipment repair and HVAC systems including troubleshooting HVAC issues. Ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Leadership or supervising experience is a plus; capable of guiding team members when necessary. Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices for building interior upkeep and general facilities maintenance tasks. Experience working with maintenance tools such as hand tools; comfortable performing plumbing system repairs or building interior maintenance tasks.
