What you'll be working on: As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Facilities Manager and handle day-to-day maintenance and repairs across DGDG dealership locations. This is a hands-on, multi-site role where you'll respond to work orders, diagnose issues, complete repairs, and help keep our facilities operating safely and efficiently. Diagnose and repair common plumbing issues, including clogs, leaks, drainage, and downspout issues Complete basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, lighting, LED fixtures, fuses, and breakers (no panel work required) Perform general construction and facility repairs, including painting, drywall, flooring/carpet, basic framing and carpentry, and concrete patching Respond to and complete facilities requests through DGDG's digital work order system and provide clear updates on project status Identify projects that fall outside of in-house capabilities so they can be routed to an approved third-party vendor Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe work environment Support emergency facilities needs as directed by the Facilities Manager Travel between DGDG dealership locations throughout the Bay Area, including Vallejo, Modesto, and Salinas, as work is assigned What you need to bring to the table: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in general facilities maintenance Working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical repair, and general construction Experience using common hand and power tools safely and effectively Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Dependable and resourceful, with good judgment and consistent follow-through Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, or computer to manage digital work orders Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to routinely travel between DGDG locations High school diploma or equivalent Nice experience to have: Trade school training or relevant certifications in plumbing, electrical, construction, or a related trade Experience in a multi-site facilities or commercial property environment Automotive dealership facilities experience
Salary:
$25.00-$45.00/hour Pay is based on applicable experience and skills.
