Job Description

Position Summary:

The Service Technician executes maintenance operations across the operating unit, including service requests, vacant apartment maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, and community-wide projects utilizing established quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures community common areas and grounds are consistently maintained to company standards, proactively identifying and resolving any potential hazards.

Provides excellent customer service by anticipating customer's needs, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

Executes all resident service requests (work orders), preventative maintenance schedules, and performs quality turn service for vacant units.

Maintains accurate records of work performed utilizing the appropriate operating platform.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability is a plus.

The physical requirements for this position include: Below waist lift

  • 48lbs, Below to above waist lift

  • 60lbs force, Ladder climbing
  • Occasional, Unilateral balance
  • Average of 20 seconds or more per leg
    Travel between communities may be required daily.

Ability to perform these functions at multiple sites is required After hours on-call support as needed Valid California driver's license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
