Job Description
Overview The Peninsula Regent is a premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community located in San Mateo, California, offering exceptional services, beautiful surroundings, and a welcoming environment for residents and team members alike. We are seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings, equipment, and community spaces while delivering outstanding service to residents. What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements to building systems, resident apartments, and common areas.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems and equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, work orders, and emergency calls while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Support community safety efforts by following established procedures and assisting during emergency situations when needed.
Pay Range:
$32.00 - $35.00 / hour DOE About You- Minimum of one year of experience in building maintenance, construction, facilities, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building maintenance systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high standard of workmanship. Working at The Peninsula Regent, you will enjoy the following benefits:
