Employee Benefits \u007C Front Line Team Members Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of facility equipment and building systems. Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules. Assist with minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, air filters, and other building components as needed. Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain building appearance through general repairs, painting, and upkeep. Assist with furniture moves, room setups, and facility event support. Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation. Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Keep mechanical rooms, maintenance shops, and work areas clean and organized. Assist senior technicians with larger repair and maintenance projects. Support emergency response efforts during facility-related incidents. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school or training preferred but not required. Experience 1 to 2 years of facility maintenance, building maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred. Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic understanding of building maintenance principles. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work on ladders and in mechanical spaces. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Certifications OSHA 10 Certification preferred. Valid Driver's License may be required. EPA Universal Certification preferred but not required.
