Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain water quality according to and above state standards to include: Required Chemical check, addressing water chemistry issues, and maintaining a vacuum schedule Maintain a safe and clean pool deck areas Inspect safety equipment Maintain a functional and organized pump room Clean filters and filter baskets Chemical controllers are calibrated and functional Keep chemical stock on hand Required (Minimum Necessary)Qualifications Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalentLevel of Experience Requirements:
Two Years Experience Pool Technician California Pool Operator Certification Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) Certification Must be able to move, lift, and handle pool chemicals responsibly Must be a team player with focus on safety and customer service Valid California Drivers License Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of pool chemicals Knowledge of pool equipment and troubleshooting Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows- understanding how work moves through a company. Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools
- e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software. Knowledge of customer service practices
- principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally. Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles
- awareness of proper handling of sensitive information. Communication skills (written and verbal)
