In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment to provide a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for guests and staff alike. Your expertise will help uphold our high standards of facility excellence, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior systems function optimally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic hospitality setting while delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; utilize hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and welding equipment as needed. Conduct electrical work including wiring repairs, circuit troubleshooting, and installation of electrical fixtures in compliance with safety standards. Maintain facilities equipment including elevators, pumps, compressors, and other mechanical systems through scheduled servicing and urgent repairs. Oversee plumbing system maintenance such as leak detection, pipe repairs, fixture replacements, and drain cleaning to prevent disruptions. Lead small teams or supervise maintenance projects when necessary; demonstrate leadership qualities to coordinate tasks efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics updates, repair logs, and inventory of tools and parts; ensure compliance with safety regulations. Support customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests to resolve issues swiftly and professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong background in mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and building interior maintenance. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, residential painting techniques, carpentry skills, and maintenance painting. Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and plumbing tools. Ability to perform electrical equipment repair and HVAC system troubleshooting effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in maintenance repair operations (MRO). Supervising experience or leadership skills demonstrating the ability to oversee projects or small teams confidently. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members. Certifications related to electrical work or HVAC systems are preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided if necessary.
