In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of pool and spa systems. Your mechanical skills and passion for service will ensure our clients enjoy safe, clean, and beautifully functioning aquatic environments. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and develop your technical skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections of pools and spas to identify issues with pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and other equipment. Repair or replace faulty mechanical components using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely. Conduct routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, checking chemical levels, and ensuring water quality standards are met. Troubleshoot electrical systems related to pool equipment to diagnose malfunctions accurately. Maintain detailed service records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each client site. Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for use or winterization. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly to clients. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized pool maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and general pool maintenance best practices. Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar repair role within the pool or spa industry is preferred. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams related to pool systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to diagnosing issues quickly.
