Completion of assigned maintenance projects (i.e. painting, plumbing, carpentry) Completes daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance Completes cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing, trash removal, and sanitizing Replaces and maintains inventory of consumable supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) Oversee cleaning checklists and logs Setting up and cleaning up after special program events Assists in closing and opening of the facility Must have the ability to use equipment and chemicals in prescribed manner, including ability to read labels, SDS information sheets, and instructions Assists with pool maintenance in accordance with training Responsible for exterior maintenance (i.e. trim trees, lighting, pressure washing) Complete assigned work orders in timely manner Provide vendors assess and support as needed Provides exceptional customer service and fosters connections with members Participating and satisfactory completion of in-service trainings Our Commitment to Belonging At the Channel Islands YMCA, we are committed to building bridges within our communities. CIYMCAHIGH
Must be at least 21 years old High School Diploma or equivalent Previous related work experience preferred Complete required certifications within 60 days of hire Complete all required Branch and Position specific trainings as required within two weeks of hire Ability to obtain a criminal record clearance Maintain a valid California driver's license, active participation in the California DMV Pull Program, an acceptable driving record and approval status as determined by the Channel Islands YMCA and/or its insurance carrier
