(Health Savings Account) Signing Bonus forSpecial Education:
The district will pay a $7,000 signing bonus to any new hire who fills a vacancy in Special Education in the 2026/27 academic year.- This supersedes and replaces the current $2,500 signing bonus.
- One-half of the stipend will be paid at the end of the lst semester or equivalent days the employee is employed by PVUSD.
- The second half of the stipend will be paid at the beginning of the second year if the teacher is employed with PVUSD.
- The stipend will be pro-rated for late hires and by FTE.
- Teachers hired on a STSP, PIP, or Waiver will be paid the full amount of the signing bonus at the beginning of their Internship year.
- If a teacher earns their intern credential mid-year, the full stipend amount will be paid at the beginning of the subsequent year. Comments and Other Information PVUSD offers the following incentives:
