This is an entry-level position designed for someone eager to learn. Full on-the-job training is provided, so you do not need professional maintenance experience—just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and basic comfort with tools. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs Troubleshoot and fix basic electrical issues, such as replacing light fixtures, switches, and wall outlets. Perform minor furniture and fixture repairs, like tightening loose chair legs, fixing cabinet hinges, or patching small drywall nicks. Complete general guest-room and public-area touch-ups as issues arise. Grounds & Pool Care Perform light landscaping duties, including weeding, sweeping walkways, and maintaining outdoor common areas. Monitor and service the hotel pool, including skimming debris, maintaining the surrounding deck, and checking basic chemical levels. General Upkeep & Trash Collect and empty trash cans from public areas, outdoor grounds, and service spaces throughout the shift. Keep the maintenance room and supply closets clean, organized, and stocked. Assist the team with property sweeps and safety checks. Qualifications & Requirements Reliable availability to work weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Basic familiarity with common hand and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, hammers). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, or walk for long periods. A friendly, helpful demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
