POSITION SUMMARY
Our Maintenance Mechanic supports beverage manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair of batching, production, packaging, and facility equipment. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, ensuring food-safe operations, and maintaining safe, reliable plant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and complete necessary repairs. Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards. Install, adjust, and maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and other mechanical systems. Perform welding, fabrication, and machining as required. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements. Respond to emergency maintenance calls and breakdowns in a timely manner. Coordinate with production and operations staff to minimize downtime. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Maintain and service beverage manufacturing equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, pumps, valves, compressors, and related utility systems. Support CIP systems, sanitation processes, and food-grade maintenance requirements. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage in the
CMMS. EQUIPMENT/ COMPUTER SKILLS
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Window, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications as required. Experience in using a CMMS; Maintenance Connection is a plus.
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training. 2-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems; basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficient with hand and power tools. Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) a plus. Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems (CMMS). Performs various other related duties assigned by supervisor. Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers. Have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as working in a team. Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates attention to detail, a professional attitude, and produces accurate work product. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adhere to deadlines. Must be enthusiastic and proactive. Must have the ability to follow up. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with Maintenance Connection a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
