Maintenance Crew Member Employment Type:
Full-Time Position Summary Simply Aspen Property Management is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance Crew Member to support the maintenance and care of luxury private residences and homeowner associations throughout the Aspen area. This position is responsible for performing routine property inspections, preventative maintenance, minor repairs, owner-requested services, vendor coordination, and seasonal property preparation. Successful candidates take pride in their work, communicate professionally, and proactively identify maintenance concerns before they become larger, more costly issues. Primary ResponsibilitiesDaily Property Maintenance Complete scheduled maintenance routes and property inspections. Perform general maintenance and minor repairs. Respond to homeowner requests and maintenance work orders. Maintain pools, spas, common areas, mechanical rooms, garages, and exterior spaces as assigned. Keep properties clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times. Document completed work and report maintenance concerns to management. Preventative Maintenance Perform seasonal preventative maintenance according to Simply Aspen's maintenance schedules, including: Spring, summer, fall, and winter property inspections HVAC filter changes and system checks Irrigation system startup and winterization Heat tape inspections Interior and exterior lighting inspections Roof, gutter, and drainage inspections Window, door, weatherstripping, and garage door inspections Vehicle and equipment inspections General property safety inspections Crew members will follow company maintenance checklists and complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks throughout the year. Vendor Coordination Meet vendors and contractors on-site as scheduled. Provide access to properties and work areas. Conduct walkthroughs before and after vendor visits. Verify work areas are left clean, secure, and in good condition. Report concerns, deficiencies, or maintenance recommendations to management. Assist with monitoring vendor performance and quality of work. Additional Skills & Special Projects Candidates with experience in any of the following trades may be assigned larger projects and expanded responsibilities: Carpentry Drywall repair Painting and staining Tile work Flooring installation and repair Plumbing Electrical work HVAC systems Roofing Irrigation systems Welding Equipment operation General construction Special projects may include renovations, capital improvements, property upgrades, and owner-requested improvements.Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience using maintenance tools and equipment safely. Residential, property management, or general maintenance experience preferred. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Schedule Options Crew members will work one of the following schedules: Option 1 Saturday- Tuesday Four 10-hour shifts Option 2 Friday
- Tuesday Five 8-hour shifts Typical hours: 7:00 AM
- 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM
- 4:00 PM Option 3 Friday
- Monday Four 10-hour shifts Schedules may vary based on property needs, owner arrivals and departures, emergency calls, seasonal workload, and special projects.
