Insight Global is seeking a Contractor Operations & Maintenance Support (COMS) Technician to support Air National Guard F-16 Mission Tactics Trainer (MTT) simulators at Hill AFB, UT. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and sustaining simulator devices and training systems that support F-16 pilot operations. Daily responsibilities include operating and maintaining simulator systems, installing and upgrading hardware and software components, troubleshooting computer, communications, and electronic systems, diagnosing equipment failures, performing preventative maintenance, interpreting technical schematics and diagrams, supporting network and communication circuits, and documenting maintenance actions. This person will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure all training devices remain fully operational and mission ready.
Ideal Background:
  • 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 0 years of experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or High School Diploma/equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in electronics, engineering, flight simulation, or related technical and/or military fields
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent technical writing skills and strong command of the English language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Adobe products
  • Ability to successfully manage competing tasks and priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification prior to start date
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required
