River Run Apartments is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the heart of Colorado's beautiful Vail Valley. Position Summary As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping River Run safe, attractive, and operating efficiently. Working alongside the Community Director and Maintenance Supervisor, you'll complete service requests, prepare apartment homes for new residents, and help maintain a community that residents are proud to call home. What You'll Be Responsible For Complete resident service requests accurately, efficiently, and with a resident-first mindset. Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including repairs, painting, cleaning, inspections, and punch work. Perform preventative maintenance to maximize the life and performance of building systems and equipment. Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and other building systems. Help maintain the appearance and curb appeal of the community through proactive maintenance. Identify potential maintenance issues before they become larger problems. Maintain an organized shop, company tools, and maintenance equipment. Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours emergencies. Promote a safe work environment and comply with company policies and applicable regulations. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means: Residents trust that maintenance concerns will be resolved promptly and professionally. Apartment homes are delivered on time and ready for new residents. Repairs are completed correctly the first time whenever possible. The community reflects pride of ownership every day. You consistently demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality. Qualifications One or more years of apartment maintenance or related building maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general carpentry. EPA Universal or Type II Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining quality workmanship. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
