Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with a passion for enhancing outdoor spaces. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance for gardens and landscapes. Duties Maintain and repair irrigation systems for commercial landscapes. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or malfunctions. Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for digging, building, and repairing irrigation components. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules are followed. Provide recommendations for improvements to existing irrigation systems based on landscape needs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during irrigation projects. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems effectively. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping and irrigation installation. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks such as digging and lifting. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
