We are currently looking for a Maintenance Tech. to join our team and are looking for individuals with strong organizational skills, flexibility to work at different buildings on a daily basis, and who can manage multiple tasks at once and juggle competing priorities. Maintenance Responsibilities Utilize your skills and experience to resolve maintenance issues including; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boiler systems, flooring, windows, appliance repair, and more Respond to service requests and work orders Identify maintenance and liability hazards and repair/report to supervisor Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and units Make all repairs/replacements necessary for apartment to be occupied Assist as needed in other areas of property maintenance including painting, grounds- keeping, trash pick-up, housekeeping, office support, etc. depending on property needs Basic Requirements and Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent is a must Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus 3 years' experience maintaining multi-family, student housing or community buildings Proven experience as maintenance technician Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Excellent Customer Service Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle Clean Background Check and Driving Record Customer Service Responsibilities Must be courteous and caring of personal property and treat co-workers and customers with respect at all times Physical Requirements Will be required to walk, stand, sit, crawl, crouch for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 80 pounds Will be required to work in confined spaces and on ladders at times.
