Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician & Event Setup at the Surf Hotel. Responsibilities Regularly inspect and repair/replace as needed all elements of the property, including furnishings, doors, windows, trim, electrical systems, HVAC systems, ice makers and other equipment, etc. Comply with all relevant safety and health codes. Interact in a clear and positive manner with staff and guests. Misc. groundskeeping as needed, such as snow removal, ice mitigation, firewood management, trash and recycling area management, leaf removal, misc cleaning, etc. Help set up for concerts and weddings setting up tables, tents, chairs, & the stage (if needed), taking down the arbor, putting away leftover chairs etc. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Well organized.
- Experience repairing and troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC systems.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with little supervision at times and maintain a high level of performance.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Needs to be prompt and reliable
Compensation:
- $22 to $24 per hour depending on experience.
