About the Role Forest & Peak Retreats is looking for a self-motivated, proactive Maintenance Tech to oversee physical care and routine upkeep across our portfolio of mountain vacation rentals. If you enjoy working outdoors, managing your own routine, and solving hands-on problems, this flexible part-time position is ideal for you. Key Responsibilities Manage & Execute the
Property Maintenance Calendar:
Stay on top of monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual tasks across 11 properties (e.g., changing air/water filters, clearing gutters, cleaning hot tub covers, power washing decks, and managing pest control).
Seasonal Grounds Keeping:
Perform routine property tasks including weed removal, raking leaves/needles, and snow clearing as needed.
Property Upkeep & Minor Repairs:
Handle general fixes, touch-up painting, vacuuming crawlspaces/dryer vents, and assisting with larger projects like tree removal or deck board maintenance.
On-Demand Problem Solving:
Respond flexibly to miscellaneous maintenance needs to ensure properties remain in top condition for guests.
Updating and Tracking Inventory:
fully owning and maintaining supply of all essential inventory items at each property
Qualifications Experience:
Prior maintenance or handyman experience is preferred, but not required if you possess strong practical skills.
Problem Solver Mindset:
Ability to troubleshoot basic home issues independently and figure out solutions on the fly.
Reliability & Independence:
Excellent time management to keep track of recurring tasks on a schedule.
Physical Capability:
