Position:

Sign Installation and Service Technician Role Overview:

As a Sign Installer and Service Technician, you will be responsible for various tasks including installing signs, welding, identifying locations for sign excavation, and determining center points for wall sign installation. Furthermore, your role will also involve mentoring apprentices, diagnosing and repairing secondary circuits, reviewing technical drawings, and managing deliveries. You will also ensure customer satisfaction and always adhere to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out sign installations and related tasks such as welding and excavation for freestanding signs. Instruct and guide apprentices throughout the workday. Perform diagnostics and repairs on secondary circuits as required. Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan sign installations. Operate delivery trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites. Assemble signs as per specifications and install them as per drawings. Ensure all safety protocols are strictly observed. Obtain customer approval on completed work-orders and take photographs of finished installations.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of five years experience in a construction environment with skills including welding, operating heavy machinery, crane, and forklift, using power tools, electrical experience, and blueprint reading. Must have personal hand tools. A Class B CDL License. A clean driving record for the past 5 years with no DUI's.
