Duties Distribute door hangers and promotional materials to targeted neighborhoods and businesses through outdoor canvassing. Engage with residents and business owners in friendly, face-to-face conversations to introduce our services and answer basic questions. Navigate assigned routes efficiently using mobile devices or maps, ensuring timely completion of daily distribution goals. Maintain professional appearance and conduct while representing the organization during outdoor work. Collect feedback from community members when appropriate to support marketing insights and outreach strategies. Follow safety protocols during outdoor activities and report any issues or concerns encountered during distributions. Track completed routes and distribute materials accurately using mobile devices or paper logs as required. Skills Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or door-to-door marketing is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage conversationally with diverse community members. Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within outreach teams. Bilingual abilities can enhance community engagement efforts across diverse populations. Previous outdoor work experience, including walking extensively in various weather conditions, is preferred. Customer service skills to create positive interactions and foster community trust. Ability to negotiate politely and professionally when discussing services or gathering feedback. Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation, data entry, or reporting purposes.
