Job Description

Description:
High 5 is looking for a skilled and dependable General Handyman / Home Repair Technician to support our plumbing, HVAC, and electrical teams. This position will focus primarily on repairing and restoring areas of customers' homes that may be impacted during service, installation, or replacement work. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, can work independently, and is comfortable completing a variety of residential repairs. Strong drywall experience is required. This is a great position for an experienced handyman, maintenance technician, remodeler, drywall technician, or construction professional who knows how to fix a little bit of everything. The ideal person is someone who can walk into a home, look at a repair, and confidently say, "I can fix that." You don't need to be a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or electrician, but you should have enough general trades and construction knowledge to understand how homes are put together and how to properly repair them after our technicians complete their work. Responsibilities Perform drywall repairs, including patching holes, replacing damaged drywall, taping, mudding, sanding, texturing, and preparing surfaces for paint Match existing wall and ceiling textures as closely as possible Complete basic carpentry repairs, including trim, baseboards, framing, doors, and other finish work Perform minor masonry and concrete repairs as needed Repair areas of customers' homes that are damaged or altered during plumbing, HVAC, and electrical installations Complete basic painting and touch-up work following repairs Perform minor caulking, sealing, and finishing work Assist with basic home repairs and punch-list items Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other jobsite equipment Assess repair needs and determine the appropriate materials and approach Maintain a clean and organized work area, especially when working inside customers' homes Protect customers' flooring, furniture, and belongings while completing repairs Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, managers, and other team members Travel to residential jobs throughout the Denver Metro area as assigned Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining High 5's quality standards Why Join Us?
Competitive Compensation :
$26-$36/hour based on experience.

Requirements:
Drywall repair and finishing experience required Experience with drywall texture matching strongly preferred General carpentry experience Basic masonry/concrete repair knowledge Basic painting and finishing skills General understanding of residential construction and the skilled trades Ability to identify and complete common residential repairs Comfortable working around completed plumbing, HVAC, and electrical installations Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair jobs Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Excellent customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to lift and carry materials, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in residential environments
