Full Job Description Description:
Assist in maintaining the injection molding machines, support equipment, and other manufacturing equipment to maximize production. This position will also assist in maintaining the facility to ensure all employees have a comfortable and safe work environment. This position will work Monday through Friday, 5am to 2:30pm.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Help build and maintain a safe work environment. Regular maintenance and repairs on machines (electrical (low voltage), hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal regulation and vacuum systems). Routine maintenance, repairs and setting of Molds (assembly, cleaning, disassembly, minor machining, welding). Consistent maintenance and repairs on the facility (cooling tower, doors, fixtures, HVAC units, minor plumbing, lighting, office furniture, painting). Assist in installation and assembly of new manufacturing equipment. Assist in parts and supplies inventory tracking. Cleaning and organization of facility Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Two years' work experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred. Low voltage electrical experience preferred Communication skills. Desire to learn. Team Player Self-starter attitude. Ability to manage and prioritize several projects simultaneously. Problem solver Ability to work outside of regular scheduled hours, including weekends. Forklift certification. Work Conditions Candidate must use arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, twist, pull, reach, climb up and down ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to bend at the waist several times per day. Exposure to conditions, such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, and gases that could affect respiratory system, eyes, or the skin. Frequently standing, walking, and climbing up and down ladders to maintain molding machines. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
