Job Description

BC Personnel Inc. is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Maintenance Technician to help maintain our manufactured home community in Thornton, CO. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the grounds, common areas, facilities, and infrastructure of the community while providing excellent service to residents and assisting management with day-to-day operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Grounds & Community Maintenance Maintain park grounds and common areas. Remove litter and debris throughout the community. Keep streets, walkways, and parking areas clean and safe. Assist with maintaining the clubhouse, laundry facilities, pool area, and recreational amenities. General Repairs & Maintenance Perform routine inspections of community facilities and equipment. Complete minor plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and repair projects. Replace lighting and maintain exterior fixtures. Repair fences, gates, signs, and other community assets. Coordinate repairs with outside contractors as needed. Infrastructure & Utilities Monitor community water, sewer, drainage, and utility systems. Report and assist with resolving infrastructure concerns. Respond to maintenance requests, service calls, and urgent repair needs as directed by management. Resident Relations Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Communicate courteously with residents, guests, vendors, and staff. Report community maintenance, safety, and compliance concerns to management for follow-up Safety & Compliance Conduct regular safety inspections. Identify and report hazards and code concerns. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work areas. Safely operate company vehicles and equipment, when assigned, in accordance with company policies. Qualifications
  • Previous property maintenance, facilities, landscaping, apartment, manufactured housing community, or property management experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, irrigation, and general repair work.
  • Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, walk extended distances, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with residents, vendors, management, contractors, and emergency service personnel.

Benefits Pay Range:
$20.00 per hour. Paid holidays and vacation Medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employment Type
  • Full-Time (40 hrs/week), Non-Exempt Schedule
  • Monday through Thursday , 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour unpaid meal period and
  • Friday , 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid meal period.
  • Additional hours and emergency response may be required as needed.
