We're looking for a special person who can maintain small production lines and also handle additional responsibilities with the remaining bandwidth. We have multiple facilities with mostly matching equipment. Our production equipment needs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep. We need facilities maintenance as well, including but not limited to doors, restrooms, and general facility odds and ends. Skills and experience a must. This position is Monday through Friday 8-5, but due to production needs there is flex to this schedule. We would from time to time need equipment worked outside of business hours depending on the situation, and would adjust hours during down times. We follow cGMP compliance and packaged food manufacturing practices. We manufacture liquid vitamins and package them into bottles, which involves filling, capping, coding, shrinking, and labeling. You will be working on manufacturing equipment, conveyors, pumps, stainless tanks, hoses, flow paths, and other general production needs. Additional benefits including two yearly bonuses, generous PTO, and eight paid holidays. All benefits will be discussed at the time of job offer. Reliability is crucial. Positive attitude required. As a Maintenance/Facilities Technician, your primary role and duties will be: Maintaining all process equipment and interior facility structures. Scheduling and prioritizing preventive maintenance activities while demonstrating flexibility on a daily basis with other project work and emergency repairs. Troubleshooting machine issues with machine operators and leads to quickly identify and correct equipment failures. Supporting production goals by improving machine uptime and ensuring accurate data is captured and tracked relating to machine breakdowns. Maintaining and ensuring all spare parts inventory are properly stocked and organized.
Job requirements:
The ability to perform the physical demands of the position including: lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly, maneuvering up to 165 lbs, working on feet for up to 10 hours, ability to bend, kneel, crouch and maneuver in different positions to address maintenance tasks in sometimes hard to reach spaces Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work flexible schedule when required. Perform all work in a safe manner in accordance with all company policies and guidelines. Computer skills associated with parts inventory, and PM scheduling.
The ideal candidate will possess:

A desire and aptitude for advancement and growth within the company. 2+ years of experience in maintaining food (liquids) production equipment and packaging equipment or similar equipment.
