  • Job title : Senior Maintenance Technician
Employment Type:
Full-Time, Swing Shift
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Aggregate Maintenance Technician (Swing Shift) is responsible for maintaining mining processing equipment in a state of readiness. You will perform appropriate inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment, and prepare all required daily and weekly department operating reports.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and company procedures.
  • Maintain an inventory of regularly required replacement parts. Inspect the condition and operation of plant equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
  • Report required repairs or other findings to the Supervisor.
  • Perform emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
    Required Education:
    High School diploma or equivalent.
      Required Work Experience:
      Experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in industrial environments. Must have basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance experience, including stick welding, arc welding, light fabrication, cutting torch, and wrenching (hand tools).
        Preferred Experience:
        Operating a skid-steer, man-lift, and other industrial equipment.
          Computer Skills:
          Basic computer proficiency.
          Additional Requirements:
          • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
          Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass qualitative and quantitative fit tests, subject to reasonable medical and religious accommodations.
