Role Summary:

Our team is looking for a seasoned Maintenance Technician to contribute to our leading heat treatment operations. We need a hands-on professional with a background in heavy industrial manufacturing who can take initiative on preventative tasks while effectively troubleshooting and repairing diverse mechanical systems.

Primary Duties:

Execute both routine and reactive maintenance tasks on our industrial and heat-treating machinery. Identify and resolve malfunctions within hydraulic units, pumps, motors, and various mechanical assemblies. Perform welding and minor fabrication tasks to help keep our equipment in optimal working condition. Oversee the upkeep of furnaces, cooling systems, and quench tanks to ensure consistent heat treatment performance. Analyze and fix mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures to help keep production running smoothly and reduce downtime. Keep precise documentation of all maintenance activities and equipment service history. Assist in the setup and integration of new machinery into our facility. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all safety protocols and internal maintenance procedures.

Candidate Qualifications:

At least 5 years of professional experience in heavy manufacturing or heat treatment maintenance. Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pumps, and metal fabrication techniques. Proficiency in interpreting technical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and service manuals. Solid grasp of industrial safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements. Capacity to manage your own workload and handle priorities effectively in a high-speed setting. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, handle high-heat work areas, and utilize standard industrial tools.

Additional Skills:

Prior background in servicing heat treatment or furnace systems. Foundational knowledge of electrical system diagnostics. Valid certification for operating cranes or forklifts.
