Role Summary:

Our team is looking for a seasoned Maintenance Technician to support operations at a leading heat-treating plant. You will need a strong background in heavy industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting. We are seeking a proactive professional who excels at mechanical troubleshooting and is dedicated to keeping our systems running smoothly through diligent preventative care.

Core Duties:

Execute routine and emergency repairs on industrial production and heat-treating hardware. Identify and fix malfunctions related to pumps, motors, hydraulic circuits, and various mechanical parts. Perform welding and minor fabrication tasks to keep our infrastructure in top working order. Help ensure the longevity of quench tanks, furnaces, and cooling systems through regular upkeep. Minimize operational delays by effectively diagnosing pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical faults. Keep detailed documentation of all repairs and service history for our equipment. Assist with the setup and integration of newly acquired machinery. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all safety protocols and internal guidelines.

Professional Requirements:

At least five years of hands-on experience in heavy manufacturing or heat-treating facility maintenance. Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and the repair of mechanical systems, pumps, and hydraulics. Capability to interpret complex mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Understanding of industrial safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to manage your own workload and handle competing priorities in a busy shop. Physical capacity to lift 50 pounds, handle industrial machinery, and work in warm settings.

Desired Skills:

Background in the maintenance of heat-treating or furnace systems. Foundational knowledge of electrical troubleshooting. Current certification for operating cranes or forklifts.
