Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Door Installer Sub Contractor to join our dynamic team. We are offering a 50/50 split on all labor and will provide materials. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of construction and remodeling projects, focusing on the precise installation of doors, frames, and related fixtures. As a key contributor, you will bring your expertise in carpentry, mechanical work, and building code compliance to deliver high-quality results that enhance our clients' spaces.

JOBS.This position is ideal for experienced contractors eager to showcase their craftsmanship while maintaining safety and efficiency on every project.

Responsibilities Install a wide range of doors, including interior, exterior, metal, and custom designs, ensuring proper fit and function Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and fabrication plans to execute installations accurately Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, fastening, and finishing door assemblies Perform door hanging, frame carpentry, trim work, caulking, and fixture installation to achieve seamless finishes Conduct mechanical repairs or adjustments as needed to ensure door operation aligns with safety standards and building codes Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand specifications and address any installation challenges promptly Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and construction site regulations Qualifications Proven experience in door installation, carpentry, or remodeling projects with a strong focus on door hanging and frame carpentry Mechanical knowledge related to door hardware, electrical work for automatic doors or electronic fixtures preferred a plus Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, saws, hammers along with power tools including welders if applicable Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately for precise installation Construction site experience with knowledge of building code compliance and safety standards Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or confined spaces as required on job sites Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during installations This role offers an engaging environment where your craftsmanship directly impacts the quality of our projects.
