Responsibilities Repair and maintain school buildings and facilities. Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring. Complete set-ups and tear-downs for scheduled campus events. Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities. Perform on-call duties as needed/assigned. Remove snow with shovels, blowers, and plows when necessary. Provide logistical support for campus activities, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Assist with fire drills, lockdowns, and other safety exercises. Help manage traffic flow and parking on campus. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of experience in general maintenance or building trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing). Valid driver's license. Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently or as part of a team. Flexible, friendly, with good communication and time management skills. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, work from ladders, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and crawling. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk long distances across campus. Experience in CMMS software program(s) Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching Requires climbing and balancing Must work in and around dust, fumes, and odors.
