This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying active, keeping things organized, and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Moving and rearranging furniture throughout the store under the direction of the manager
• Hanging mirrors, artwork, and other wall décor
• Packing and carefully wrapping fragile items such as dishes, glassware, and decorative pieces
• Keeping the store clean, neat, and organized
• Vacuuming the store approximately once a week and cleaning store windows as needed
• Assisting customers with loading heavier purchases into their vehicles
• Helping unload customer vehicles and bring items into the store
• Performing minor maintenance, repairs, and general handyman tasks as needed
• Providing friendly, helpful customer service Ideal candidate:
• Dependable and responsible
• Comfortable lifting and moving furniture and other heavier items
• Hands-on and able to perform basic handyman tasks
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in keeping the store looking its best
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
• Able to take direction and work independently when needed
• Previous retail, furniture, moving, maintenance, or handyman experience is a plus
