Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Junior Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team on 2nd shift but will train on 1st shift for a minimum of 3-4 months. This role involves supporting the maintenance and repair of plant equipment, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of industrial mechanics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic production environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of facility operations. Duties Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment, including lubrication, calibration, and part replacement. Use precision measuring instruments and troubleshooting tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to identify faults. Operate industrial machinery such as scissor lifts safely for maintenance access and repairs. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and installations. Colaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex equipment issues and implementing improvements. Follow safety protocols related to electrical maintenance, high-voltage systems, and machinery operation. Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment is preferred. Knowledge of industrial mechanic practices including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, circuit schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Experience with equipment repair involving electrical systems, motors, drives, sensors, and PLCs. Understanding of industrial safety standards related to electrical work at low and high voltages. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters effectively. Strong analysis skills for identifying root causes of equipment failures. Oils, greases, inspects, and maintains production equipment as necessary and as scheduled to keep it functioning optimally. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals in English. This position is integral to maintaining our operational excellence through proactive maintenance support. Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
